Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
Apex Strategy & Media LLC, a Texas limited liability company is committed to making Brazosport Fishing Guide accessible to as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Conformance target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our baseline and strive toward Level AAA where practical. Accessibility is verified on an ongoing basis with automated testing (axe-core) as part of our build process, in addition to manual review.
What we've done
We build accessibility into the site, including:
- Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard navigability and visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast meeting or exceeding AA (and AAA for body text where practical).
- Touch targets sized for ease of use.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
- No accessibility-overlay widget — we build real accessibility rather than relying on an overlay, which independent research and the FTC have found ineffective and sometimes harmful.
Known limitations
Third-party embedded content (such as maps) is click-to-load and may not fully meet our standards once loaded; we choose providers with this in mind.
