Who we are
Brazosport Fishing Guide is an informational and charter-referral service operated by Apex Strategy & Media LLC, a Texas limited liability company. We help people in Freeport, Texas and the Brazosport area find and connect with independent charter operators. We are not a charter operators business ourselves — we do not provide the service, and the operators we connect you with are independent third parties.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the following, plus any details you choose to include in your message:
- your name
- phone number
- email address
- ZIP code
- the service you need
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment information, and we do not ask for or collect sensitive information such as precise location, health, biometric, or financial data.
How we use it
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to connect you with one or more independent charter operators who can help with your request. We may also use aggregate, non-identifying information to understand how the site is used.
Sharing your information with operators
When you submit an inquiry, we forward the information you provide, at your direction, to one or more independent charter operators so they can respond to you. We do not sell lists, and we do not share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or social media platforms for cross-context behavioral advertising. By submitting the form, you consent to this forwarding. If you do not want your inquiry forwarded, do not submit a form on this site; contact charter operators directly instead.
We may be paid a referral fee. A partnered charter operator may pay us a fee for forwarding your inquiry. That fee is paid by the charter operator, not by you. It does not change the price you are quoted, and we are not paid based on whether you book. We do not receive a commission on your booking.
Each partnered charter operator operates under its own privacy practices once they receive your information. We are not responsible for their handling of your data after the inquiry is forwarded, though our agreements require them to delete your information on request.
How operators may contact you, and your consent
By checking the consent box and submitting the form, you agree that one or more charter operators we connect you with may contact you about your request by phone call, text message, or email — and that those calls or texts may be placed using automated or prerecorded technology. Consent to be contacted this way is not a condition of using this site or of any purchase, and standard message and data rates may apply.
You can withdraw consent or stop contact at any time: reply STOP to any text, ask the operator directly to stop contacting you, or email us at privacy@brazosportfishingguide.com and we will not share your information further. Withdrawing consent does not affect contact that already took place.
Service providers we use
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate the site. These providers process data only as needed to deliver the site and your inquiry. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking services.

- Cloudflare Turnstile — spam and bot protection on our forms
- Cloudflare — hosting and cookieless web analytics
- Umami — cookieless, aggregate site analytics
- Google Maps — click-to-load maps you choose to open
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookieless analytics and sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Embedded services such as maps are click-to-load: they are not requested, and set no cookies, until you choose to interact with them. Because we set no tracking cookies, the site displays no cookie-consent banner.
How long we keep it
We retain inquiry information only as long as needed to connect you with an operator and for a reasonable period afterward for follow-up and record-keeping.
Your choices
You may ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@brazosportfishingguide.com. We will honor reasonable requests.
Forwarding your inquiry to a partnered charter operator happens at your direction, and we may be paid a referral fee for doing so. Some state privacy laws define that as a "sale" or as "sharing," and you may opt out at any time by emailing privacy@brazosportfishingguide.com. Because forwarding your inquiry is the service you asked for, opting out after submission means we will ask the charter operator to delete your information, delete our own copy, and not forward any future inquiry from you.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. This policy is effective August 9, 2026.
